Sharples has the knowledge and experience to provide customers with blanking tools for difficult layouts. These include thin stock, single or double knife configurations, and combination runs. 

Sharples can beat the competition on edge quality, accuracy, and flatness with the latest laser technology. Blank separating tools are cut burr-free, with minimum heat-affected zone, to guarantee a clean, accurate, and safe blanking process. By installing a dedicated metal-cutting system, Sharples can provide cut quality that dieboard machines are unable to match. 

Our customers take advantage of blanking technology to save on labor, but the cost of a complete tooling package can be high.  To help customers save on tooling costs, we set up a system and build components for their blanking tools.  We offer the following options:

• Full custom-made steel female blankers.
• Component pieces, such as rails and frames, for customer-assembly in easy job setup.
• Flat-top blankers produced from wood or steel or a combination of both.
• Steel internal grids for easy insertion into universal frames.
• Other economical materials for replacement of traditional ones.
