At Sharples, our policy is to make that extra call
to the customer when something seems ill-suited for the job request.
We take quality
very seriously. Our investments in equipment, maintenance, and
training are made to enforce our stringent policy on quality.
Inspection of Tooling
All dies and related tooling are checked for accuracy
and workmanship. We have a minimum of three to five inspection steps
during the manufacturing
process, from design to final inspection. We place all tools through
an inspection process. Upon customer request, we prepare a custom
inspection report to accompany tooling.
Inspection of Finished Parts for Contract Cutting
At Sharples, we inspect incoming material for a
specific laser or water-jet cutting job at the time of receipt. Our
inspection
covers
the thickness
of material, type, and sheet size. We also inspect parts for
customer orders before we complete the final cutting process.
Document Certification Service
Sharples offers a document certification service
to confirm the dimensions of a finished part or tool. This service
is available upon customer request. Our coordinate measuring table
allows us to generate digital readouts to establish data on finished
parts and tools.
An Extensive Reference of Industry Machine
Specifications
Sharples acquires literature and technical documentation
on the leading industry machines. We update our documentation continually
and maintain our connections with machine manufacturers.
Individual Customer Specifications
Every customer is different. Every job is different.
At Sharples, we respect the unique character of each customer request.
We keep customer specifications readily available to all departments
at every stage of the manufacturing process. We update this category
of specifications routinely, as customer preferences and guidelines
change.
